After a VERY SUCESSFUL start, we are ready for a terrific new 12 week session, beginning the week of January 11, 2010.

We are offering three EARLY BEGINNERS II classes for continuing students (Early Beginners I this year), one EARLY BEGINNERS I classes for new students K-2, and one ADVANCERS II class ONLY for advanced students. Please note that More Than Spanish has a 4 year progressive curriculum and will not accept new students in our Early Beginners II level. Tuition for this Winter/Spring session is $220.00 and includes workbook and CD. We need a minimum enrollment of six students to hold a class.

Classes are small, maximum 12 students, and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. To register, please fill out the registration form and send it in with payment made out to: More Than Spanish, 1 Wiley Street Gloucester, MA 01930 by Friday January, 8th. Early Beginners II:
Children with previous Spanish experience expand their knowledge with new vocabulary and themes. After reviewing concepts already taught in "Early Beginners I," we introduce interactive themes like animals at the zoo, animals at the farm, adjectives to describe them, more feelings and emotions, food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, days of the week, months, seasons and weather. Please note that this class is ONLY for students with previous Spanish.

Early Beginners I:
Through fun games, songs, dances, children learn new vocabulary and how to ask and answer basic questions such as: Cómo te llamás? Cómo estás? Cuántos años tienes? Dónde vives? They also learn greetings, numbers, colors, family members, fruits, food, parts of the body, clothing and some adjectives and feelings.

Advancers II:
Advanced children will immerse in the foreign language and its culture, through themes such as: Going on vacations, Picnic Day, Celebrating la fiesta, etc. Spelling and grammar concepts will be taught in a natural and creative way. Please note that this class is ONLY for students with previous Spanish.

PIKE LIAISON OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for two parent volunteers, one for Tuesdays and one for Wednesdays to ensure the children arrive and are dismissed safely. The time commitment is from 3:00-3:20 pm and 4:10-4:20 pm on Tuesdays and 2:00-2:20 pm and 3:10-3:20 pm on Wednesdays. You will receive 50% off one tuition for your time.
